A sua pesquisa, desde 2000, é dirigida para os assuntos relacionados à estrutura urbana da cidade de São Paulo e seus reflexos nas relações entre seus habitantes, com ênfase nos estudos de áreas residuais como o Pátio do Pari, o edifício São Vito e o Vale do Anhangabaú.
